Our Mission
At 12d Synergy our mission is to help businesses succeed by creating a simpler, smarter way to work. A more collaborative, less chaotic way where great work can happen from anywhere, free from the usual guesswork, rework and risk.
Our Story
12d Synergy was born in 2011 to help the Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT) and the New Zealand community rebuild after the devastating Christchurch earthquakes. It was here of all places that our founders Joel Gregory and Richard Stoliar made an unlikely discovery… one that quickly became an obsession.
They discovered that how we work and the data we create has fundamentally changed, but the systems we use haven’t. The existing systems were either too generic for our specialised industry or too complex and expensive. Leaving work to decay into a chaos of mismanaged documents and emails lost across isolated systems. Ugh!
So we built 12d Synergy to become the sweet spot between this: a solution that was powerful for the industry, yet also easy to use and affordable.
From this vison, 12d Synergy has grown into an enterprise document and data management system for the architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Today 12d Synergy helps thousands of users work smarter.

At the heart of 12d Synergy is a young and vibrant, positivity-driven culture. We’re a fun, supportive, family-friendly and, above all, a down-to-earth bunch. 12d Synergy was born and bred on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches (think Bondi – but better); hey even our CEO surfs.
At 12d Synergy we don’t have employees, we have humans who we genuinely care for and grow with mentorship programs, professional training and meaningful work.
In our calendars you’ll discover invites for Friday drinks, ‘Cake Day’ (why wouldn’t you?), dress up competitions, barbeques and Lunch & Learn sessions (pizza included – of course).
